How do we hold the space for each other as professionals? How do we hold space for our clients? Sometimes we get so caught up in providing services for our clients that we forget the work comes from us, through us, and thus is also for us.
In this workshop Aminata Cairo brings us back to ourselves. She invites us to let go, to be, and delve into the work with ourselves and each other, so that we may be invigorated in our work.
In this interactive workshop, you get to explore Aminata’s personal and unique approach to diversity and inclusion. Sietar Nederland is proud to host this event where you will have the opportunity to learn and experience how to contribute to a more inclusive environment.
Aminata Cairo is an Anthropologist, Psychologist, Scholar, Storyteller and Love-worker, and the author of Holding Space: A Narrative Approach to Trampling Diversity and Inclusion. She is an independent consultant “who works with people” and the former Lector of Inclusive Education at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

Time: Welcome from 13.30 hrs. Start at 14.00 till 17.00 and drinks after the workshop until 18 hrs.

Price non-SIETAR participants: € 75.00. Coffee, tea, and drinks (non-alcoholic) and snacks afterwards included.

Language: The workshop will be accessible for English and Dutch speaking participants. The presentation is in English. You can speak and ask questions in the language of your preference. If understanding English is difficult, please indicate so in the registration form and we will help during the workshop so that you will be able to follow.
Guided tour: we are in a special location. After the workshop you are welcome to visit the mosque with a guided tour.
